50 primary school children
publish a book in Maltese
“Mill-Pinna Tiegħi” (Through my Pen) is a book written by 50 students who before this summer were sixth year primary children. The publication is a joint project between De La Salle college and Our Lady Immaculate school.
Rita Azzopardi, a teacher of Maltese at De La Salle, said each student chose a monument or a place of interest in Malta or Gozo, carried out research and underwent the whole process of creating a book.
The publication’s process resumed with proof reading, the innovative use of technology and digital tools with a QR Code with every story so that the reader may watch and listen to a boy or girl reading their particular story.
