Inauguration of the GEO-INF Rainwater Recovery Project

The 𝗚𝗘𝗢-𝗜𝗡𝗙 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 was inaugurated yesterday at De La Salle Malta in the presence of Minister Zrinzo Azzopardi and representatives from De La Salle College and Atlas Insurance

The GEO-INF project, created by Ing. Marco Cremona and funded by the Atlas Community Involvement fund, aims to replenish groundwater levels by an estimated 130,000 litres per year by capturing rainfall on school roofs and depositing it into the water table

This infrastructure will also be implemented within two more schools, enhancing the awareness and action amongst students towards the Sustainable Development Goal of Clean Water and Sanitation
