St Nicholas of Bari visited the Year 3s and Year 4s at De la Salle College, Junior School. Fr Joe and the students asked him interesting questions about his life. By his example of generosity to those in need, especially children, St Nicholas is an example of kindness and generosity. In preparation for the visit, the students together with their teachers worked on some crafts while learning more about the life of St Nicholas.
The year 4s did a Secret Santa activity to understand better what it means when we do good acts or give gifts to others in silence and in secret like St Nicholas did with the 3 girls.
The year 3s wrote a letter to Santa asking for material gifts as well as moral gifts.
