We had the pleasure of hosting 2 Year 5 classes from De La Salle College at our Educational Centre! It was an enriching day filled with exploration and learning about the wonders of Buskett. Here's a glimpse of their adventure:
🌺 Exploring Flora and Fauna: The children delved into the diverse flora and fauna of Buskett, discovering its hidden treasures through captivating slideshows, informative videos, and engaging presentations.
🌳 Discovering Wied il-Luq: In the valley bearing its name, "Wied il-Luq," the children marveled at stands of majestic White Poplar trees (Luq), connecting with nature's beauty and resilience.
🌱 Hands-On Horticulture: The day concluded with a hands-on horticultural activity, where children eagerly sowed seeds of indigenous trees like the Judas Tree and Cypress trees in biodegradable pots. It's a small step towards nurturing our environment and fostering a sense of stewardship for our precious ecosystems. 🪴🌍
