30th September (Outside)
In the Senior School, a Special Assembly was conducted in conjunction with the International Lasallian Days for Peace in 2024–2025. During this event, Mr. Arist Cordina, a volunteer of the Royal British Legion in Malta, explained how as a recognized non-governmental organisation, the Malta Branch of the Royal British Legion is a part of the biggest charitable organization in the United Kingdom. The Malta Branch was founded more than a century ago, and we take great pride in having helped needy ex-servicemen and their dependents in Malta by giving them both monetary and moral support.
The Royal British Legion connotes support for WWII veterans for a large number of people. The youngest among those who fought so valiantly in this war is now ninety years old. Naturally, after World War II, there have been additional wars, and throughout the past 75 years, many people have served their country. We are completely dedicated to helping all members of the ex-services community and consistently provide support, enabling them to confidently face the future through the tireless efforts of our volunteers who labour without any expectation of reward.
1st October (In hall)
Another Special Assembly within the Senior School was held to commemorate the International Lasallian Days for Peace 2024 - 2025. During this event, Mr. Darin Micallef explained how the goal of the Malta Red Cross Society is to prevent and end human suffering by enhancing the lives of those who are most in need by acting impartially and without regard to a person's ethnicity, nationality, gender, class, religion, or political convictions.
