Earth Week: Inspiring Change for a Sustainable Future

As part of our Environmental Sustainability action plan, we have dedicated a week in our academic calendar to raise awareness about local environmental sustainability.  The latter concept has also been embedded in most of the subjects’ curriculum through different work and activities.  During the past months, students engaged in meaningful work which included editorial writing on environmental degradation, Maltese endemic species, climate change, air pollution, and renewable energy.  Static models are all made up of reusable or recyclable material.   They also explored ways to make Maltese households more energy-efficient and designed impactful posters promoting environmental awareness. All this and more is celebrated and exhibited in the school’s foyer.
