The Form 4 students were given the opportunity to participate in a captivating Maths Trail adventure within the historic setting of Mdina. This outing served a dual purpose: firstly, it contributed to the SEC School-Based Assessment, ensuring a practical application of their mathematical knowledge; and secondly, it aimed to infuse excitement and enthusiasm into the learning of mathematics.

Divided into groups of no more than 10, the students embarked on their journey armed with a series of tasks to complete at various spots throughout Mdina. At each location, they were tasked with gathering data by measuring lengths and conducting basic calculations on the spot. This hands-on approach not only reinforced mathematical concepts but also offered an immersive and enjoyable learning experience amidst the ancient streets and structures of Mdina.
