Part of the Speedworks team
Congratulations to Alexander Ferranti part of the Speedworks team.
Speedworks athletes are travelling to the Lee Valley Athletics Centre for their first experience of indoor competition.
They’ll be competing across sprints, long sprints, and throwing events, stepping into a fast-paced, high-standard environment that demands focus, adaptability, and composure.
The goal this weekend is to execute well — apply what we train for, race with intent, and learn how to manage indoor competition from warm-up to finish. Strong performances come from doing the basics right, especially in a setting like this.
For many of the group, this is a new and important step in their development. Every race and every throw is part of the learning process that helps turn training into performance.
Proud of the athletes for embracing the challenge and approaching the weekend with the right mindset.
