Meeting Different Authors
March 2022
Various Maltese authors were invited for a face-to-face or an online session on our school platform Microsoft Teams. All authors managed to create exciting workshops, held exceptional reading online sessions, and answered many students’ questions. Several Maltese authors were invited to an online session on our school's Microsoft Teams platform or a live session at the school. The authors were able to design engaging seminars, hold special online reading sessions, and address many of the students' queries. Unfortunately, owing to the pandemic, students' purchased books could not be autographed by the author, as we had to hand them out later after they were quarantined, as we did last year. Despite this, we got many book orders, and students continued to purchase books from the authors and publishers. The books were handed to the kids in their classes after being quarantined. The authors who accepted our invitation to hold online sessions during Book Week 2021-2022 were:
Year 1 – Sherize Zammit;
Year 2 – Sandra Hili Vassallo;
Year 3 – Noel Tanti;
Year 4- Leanne Ellul;
Year 5- Dwayne Ellul ;
Year 6 – Patrick Sammut.
