An informative meeting for the parents
Year 1 - Following an informative meeting for the parents regarding the Read Write Inc Literacy programme the parents joined their children for a fun STEM activity in class. 
The teacher animated the story of the 3 little pigs with help from the parents and after the children built the 3 houses of straw, sticks and bricks using different materials that represented the ones mentioned in the story.
Finally to test how sturdy the inventions were, the big bad wolf attempted to blow down their houses.
