Diversity Week opened with a truly meaningful day as Miah, a frame football player, shared a powerful message about including everyone, helping everyone and believing in oneself. A Lasallian student, Harry, also inspired us all by reminding everyone of the importance of never giving up and always trying our best. Through their life experiences and challenges faced in different sports, the speakers delivered a moving and motivating talk. Grade 3 students listened attentively, learned with open hearts and felt empowered to accept and celebrate diversity around them. Later the students took part in games that reflected activities with an impairment, helping them better understand the challenges discussed during the talk.
