Stella Maris College, Gzira are happily hosting a pair of Merilli Malta's nest-boxes with the hope that they will be taken up by Blue Rock-thrushes in the future.

In urban environments Blue Rock-thrushes often find nesting opportunities in buildings that are under construction, which are transient and are prone to being disturbed. By providing nestboxes in the Marsamxett harbour area and beyond, we hope to increase the amount of secure breeding sites for our study species.
