Fun filled adventurous outing
What a fun filled adventurous outing! We have learned historical facts about the Ottomans and the Knights of Malta during the Great Siege, the meaning of the 8 pointed Cross and the use of the Inquisitor’s Palace. Also the Bandu which was the start of Carnival and they learned the dance steps of the Parade.
The boys were also given a tour of the Carnival Exhibition by the carnival items donated to Heritage Malta by George Zahra who is now 88 years old and has won several Carnival competitions in his lifetime.
