Autism Awareness Month- At De La Salle Junior School, students in Year 1 and Year 2 participated in an Autism Awareness activity featuring a storytelling session titled "Mase in Space" followed by creating an infinity sign with handprints, symbolizing unity and inclusivity. Year 5 students focused on understanding autism, appreciating the unique qualities of individuals with autism, and promoting inclusivity in school and society. They engaged in a snowball activity highlighting each student's distinctive traits, fostering acceptance and appreciation for diversity. The initiative was in collaboration with Sincerely Spectrum, aimed at promoting Autism Acceptance Month. Ms. Michelle and Ms. Marilyn led the sessions for Year 3-6 contributing to raising awareness and fostering understanding among the students. 💙♾️
