The Year 2 Boys we had a Maltese writing session where the boys saw short clips of astronauts walking on the moon, shared space related books and they pretended to be astronauts walking on the moon themselves Then they took turns to wear an astronauts’ costume (we had a special helper too ) and speak in role explaining what they saw and what happened when they were on the moon. Finally, we wrote a postcard to someone back on Earth telling them all about our adventure on the moon.
