Year 3 Red Outing to Ghajn National Water Conservation Awareness Centre
We started off our outing with an introductory discussion and presentation about water and water management, and after the boys had an interactive experience and played games about the water cycle and the conservation of water resources in the Maltese Islands.
After we made a visit to our very own water recovery facility at De la Salle and the boys could see how this channels rainwater from the roofs of their own school building directly to the water table which replenishes groundwater levels.
We finished off our day by designing our very own water cycle booklet and reinforced our vocabulary on the water cycle.
