Called to Be Saints

Today, our Year 3 boys took part in a special prayer space dedicated to All Saints, discovering how the saints followed Jesus and shared His love with the world.
Organised by our Lay Chaplain, Ms Isabel, together with the Year 3 team, this meaningful experience encouraged the boys to reflect on the lives of the saints and how they can follow their example in their everyday lives.
Our activities included:
🙏 Reflect and Pray: Thinking about what it means to be a saint.
✍️ My Saintly Promise: Writing or drawing one kind and loving action to practise during the week.
🕊️ Guess the Saint: Discovering inspiring facts about different saints.
💡 God’s Word: Reflecting on Matthew 5:16 — “Let your light shine before others.”
🎬 Imitating the Saints: Watching a video about children following the example of the saints.
The boys were reminded that we do not need to be superheroes to make a difference. Through small acts of kindness, generosity, courage and love, we can all follow the example of the saints and help build a better world.
May we continue to let our light shine and live out our Lasallian values each day!
