Project Objectives
Strategic objective: Increasing the awareness of inclusion at the level of interpersonal communication in the school following the pandemic period in the context of distance learning including the development of a quality education in our school.
O1: Implementing 5 new interactive teaching methods from the European educational space, a collection of resources regarding the inclusion of students with fewer opportunities in the educational system.
O2 – Increasing the professional development of the teachers including a specific curriculum development course in the third month of the project, in Malta.
O3: Growing by 7 to 10 percent the motivation of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, to get involved in the active process of learning, connected to a multicultural touch.
Main Activities
The methodology of the project uses blended activities for teachers and students in relation with real-life issues: internet exploratory ones, a mixture of creative and real-world activities, surveys and workshops, eTwinning courses, teaching material creation, etc.
Without being exhaustive in reaching the objectives the projects include:

Expected Results
Our project will produce an impact and produce benefits, primarily on the target groups, the students and teachers participating in mobility, who will be the direct beneficiaries, along with the other students and teachers from the participant schools:
- 1375 students from the coordinating school in Romania, 120 teachers;
- 280 teachers from the partner school in Malta, 35 teachers;
- 210 students from the partner school in Greece, 26 teachers.
- The indirect beneficiaries: the local community, schools from the cities where the schools participating in the project are located.
Online Guide
The result of the first learning activity within the project "The inclusion of students with few opportunities into the European dimension", reference no.: 2022-2-RO01-KA210-SCH-000095715: a collection of online resources, with 5 learning methods and 10 lesson plans, resources created after the learning activity in Malta, from May 15-19, 2023, in De La Salle College Sixth Form school, where teachers from Romania, Greece and Malta attended.
Events
1| LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR TEACHERS (MALTA)
In June 2023, the third month of the first semester of the project, five teachers from Romania and five teachers from Greece will meet in Malta, because the teachers from Malta are the most evolved in the matter of inclusion, they have succeeded in running several activities based on inclusion, like:
- Personal Awareness Lessons scheduled in the timetable.
- 2 events in the scholastic year which are part of our non-formal learning curriculum.
Meetings during 5 working days in which a collection of resources, which contains five new teaching methods, and 10 lessons plans to increase the involvement of all students in all the educational activities from the class we put together.
2| DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES FOR TEACHERS (MALTA)
Communication and dissemination help us value our work and our efforts. A series of meetings with the Teaching Staff teaching in the participating schools' community were held. These were related to the published Online Guide and effectiveness of these lesson plans as a pedogolical tools to be incorporated in our curricula.
3| PREPARATION FOR LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS (GREECE)
Logistical preparation and selection of a cohort of students from De La Salle College Sixth Form who will travel to Greece in March 2023.
Assessment and adaptation of the drama script “Girl is Always Getting Picked on at School” by the Maltese teachers who will be travelling to Greece.
Assignment of the different script roles to 8 students who will be joining the Teacher and Students Training held in Greece in March 2023 and the scheduling of rehearsals.
4| LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS | MARCH 2024 | DIDYMOTEICHO - GREECE
A team of dedicated teachers and students embarked on an Erasmus+ trip to Greece, exploring the beauty of inclusion. Meeting Greek and Romanian partners was inspiring, and our stay in Didymoteicho, Evros, was unforgettable. From engaging in a powerful theatrical performance - “Girl is Always Getting Picked on at School” - highlighting inclusion to exploring the rich history of Athens at the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis Hill, every moment was a testament to the power of unity and understanding.
5| DISSEMINATION BY DLS 6 TEACHERS: THE GREECE EXPERIENCE
June 2024 dissemination session by De La Salle College Sixth Form teachers who visited Greece in March had the opportunity to share their valuable experiences and insights with fellow colleagues and educators. The session was engaging and inspiring, highlighting the enriching impact of our Erasmus project.

8| CONCLUSION OF THE PROJECT | SEPT 2024 | SLATINA, ROMANIA
🌍 De La Salle College Sixth Form recently concluded a fantastic Erasmus+ project in Slatina, Romania, focused on the inclusion of students with limited opportunities! 🇲🇹🤝🇷🇴🇬🇷
Our teachers and students had the incredible chance to collaborate in teams, share experiences, and build lasting connections with international partners from Romania and Greece. Together, we worked towards promoting equal opportunities and the integration of students from disadvantaged backgrounds within a European context.
These inspiring activities demonstrated the true power of collaboration and mutual learning, reminding us of the importance of solidarity in education. Here's to a more inclusive and equitable future for all students! 💪✨

Yesterday, De La Salle College Sixth Form had the pleasure of hosting a dissemination session led by Mr. H. Spiteri, Ms. E. Busuttil Gili, and Ms. R. Camilleri. They shared their incredible experiences from the recent Erasmus+ project in Slatina, Romania! 🇷🇴
